I’m a software developer and I sit in front of the computer all day long looking at code which can be incredibly tiring on the eyes. Having the right monitor, IDE and font are important in order to reduce eye strain and fatigue.
I was very happy that I found a font made by JetBrains the maker of my go-to IDE, PHPStorm. While the name suggests PHP, it’s a great editor for many different languages. I won’t go into why I like this particular IDE, but this new font is fantastic. JetBrains Mono font is clean, super easy on the eyes and has is designed specifically for developers looking at code.
